Biodiesel is a clean, renewable, and biodegradable fuel made from natural sources such as used cooking oil, vegetable oils, and animal fats. It is produced through a chemical process called transesterification, which converts these oils into fatty acid methyl esters (FAME). Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or blended with conventional diesel (e.g., B20, B10) to power diesel engines without major modifications.
